An important thread in the fabric of Reston’s community is the restaurants where we share meals with family and friends, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and often experience new cuisines we learn to love. These restaurants are run by hardworking managers and employees who, like the rest of us, are coping with the difficult and strange time we find ourselves in. While some of our restaurants have had to close, many others continue to serve our community by preparing tasty and nutritious meals for carryout or delivery. This cannot take the place of full service, of course, and our restaurants and their employees are hanging on day by day hoping for our eventual return to a better situation. In the meantime, we can help, by patronizing our restaurants and supporting their employees – and we get a great meal in return. When possible, please strengthen this vital thread by ordering carryout or delivery. And tip big!
